Courtney Deelen

DIRECTOR - PRODUCER

A Norfolk County native who has a degree in Musical Theatre Performance and was once a famed Dawson City Gertie Girl.

Courtney is an award winning director, actor and producer who’s most recent short film, “The Last of Ian Campbell” premiered at the Oscars and BAFTA qualifying 2020 LA Shorts International Film Festival.

A proud member of both ACTRA Toronto and the CMPA, who’s on-screen credits include: Good Witch, Suits, Murdoch Mysteries, Becoming Burlesque, and 12 Monkeys.

She is a faculty member of St. Clair College’s Music Theatre Performance program, a multiple grant recipient of the Ontario Arts Council, and a finalist of both the Cayle Chernin Awards and the ACTRA’s TAWC short film creation lab.

Michael T. Burgess

WRITER - PRODUCER

A Hamilton native who trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in New York City.


Michael's experience behind the camera has ranged from work as an Assistant Director, Assistant Production Manager, Casting, and COVID Specialist. His credits include Suits, The Boys, The Expanse, Flashpoint, Titans, Get Rich or Die Tryin', RED, Spotlight, and Suicide Squad.

Michael’s first 15 minutes of fame came when he was part of barber shop quartette in the Emmy award winning Color of Friendship for Disney, for which he still receives enough residuals to buy coffee 4 times a year…. now available on Disney+
